From the other side of the tracks

I guess as long as we have the group in power we have there will be a constant revilationh of whrt crooks we have in office. I wasn't really supprised that the repubican majority leader came under indictment, maybe this will spark somebody to look into the buisness of some of the other political hotdogs that are getting rich on our money. It's just to bad that Bush doesn't take a strong look at the rest of his buddies in power, especially those whom he appointed, that should realy rattle some cages eh???..How abut the FEMA people, who sill don't seem to have it together, and the director of the homeland security, I have read several blogs in politicaly incorrectand it seem that all the money being thrown around for our home security is going to a lot of places that don't need it and none of the paces that do.It's pretty great that a news person can drive up and down the highway at Chemical alley in New Jersey taking pictures for a long time and no one even stopped to see what he was up that should make all of us feel real safe. In the news daily I read about the drive by shootings, and the growing gang population in Spokane, and the have had to cut the police and fire dept. by 30 percent. There was just recently a show on the discovery channel about the tie's that the gangs have with the terrorist groups, that has thechance of starting a lot of fires.I have been writing to senators and congressmen for the past month, and I have yet ro recieve a response. I am still waiting to hear from folks that have written letters to thier government, I would like to know if any of you get a response. Have a great day America and may God bless you all

Howdy, My name is Frank and this is my first time to post a blog.I just read a post by a gentleman caled mountain man, and he is right on with what he said. I've been saying the same thing. We have spent billions of dollars fighting a war in a country that doesn't want us, and doesn't want our form of democracy. yet we got pulled into it by a power hungry president who had to get back at Saddam for trying to shoot his dad.He just barged in against all advice to the contrary, and look at the mess we are in. Cutting taxes for the rich, and cutting benifits for the poor is a lousy recipe for success under any circumstances. He botched 9/11, but was pulled out by the wonderful mayor of NewYork, now we have an even greater catastrophy on our hands, and it seems as tho no one in the higher ups has any conception of what to do. It make me laugh when Bush finally got down to the now infamous football stadium where thousands were left to go without even the bare esssentials, and now he is taking charge.Ha......people are still without power, many are still without food and water, several hundred generators are sittingg idle in a parking lot cause nobody knows where they are suppose to go.and now they want to have a government inquiry on what went wrong in the whole thing. This Vet firmly believes that there should be an outside nonpartisan commitee to investigate the whole mess. If you remember the last time the government sent someone in to take a look at the books, he raised so many damning questions in two weeks they ran him off. It's time for ALL Americans to start writing to thier congressman and Senators and demand answers to many hard questions These people work for "we the people" and it's time that we take a hard look at whats going on. Please don't misunderstand me I am a proud American and I love my country and the people in it. I just feel it's time we become a voice that is heard. Frank please excuse the spelling
